The University of Tennessee Health Science Center invites applications for the position of Open rank Professor, 30% Part-Time in the Department of Family Medicine, College of Medicine Chattanooga at UTHSC, in Chattanooga, TN.
The Open-rank Professor will support clinical and academic efforts by delivering direct patient care for University of TN Family Practice (UTFP) patients. Additionally, this position will be involved in the education and supervision of Family Medicine residents at UTHSC-COM- Chattanooga.
Candidates are required to hold an MD degree or its equivalent, be board certified in Family Medicine, and be licensed or license eligible in Tennessee. Preferred qualifications include previous work experience in an academic medical center. While any well-rounded, team-oriented Family Physician should consider applying, we perceive growth opportunities in geriatrics, POCUS, surgical OB, and endoscopy.
