OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 500+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a Family Medicine physician (MD/DO) to work full-time at its Overland Clinic located in Boise, Idaho.
The Family Medicine providers at the Overland Clinic are dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of patients to include birth to end of life, including the option of obstetrics care if desired by the physician. The clinic utilizes a patient centered medical home model focusing on population health. The Overland Clinic has a procedure room and an onsite lab.
Support includes 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia; Level IV Trauma Center; ED; Saint Alphonsus FM clinic on-site; community family medicine clinics; SAHS specialty physicians rotate in outreach, larger system resources.
The schedule for this full-time opportunity is a traditional clinic work week, Monday through Friday, with no less than 34 hours of scheduled patient contact time. Practice call is shared with other Family Medicine physicians and is approximately 1:30+.
Requirements for this opportunity include: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degreeSuccessful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency programBoard certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases.Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA.This is an exciting opportunity for the right Family Medicine physician to be part of Saint Alphonsus Medical Group.
