Family Medicine Physician Needed For Locum Tenens Coverage At Facility In Baltimore, Maryland

About the facility A FQHC is seeking a physician for locum tenens coverage. Creds take about 30-60 days. About the facility location The facility is located in Baltimore, MD. About the clinician's workday The locum position is in an FQHC outpatient clinic in the Baltimore area, starting late October or early November, with a preferred duration of six months (but open to three months). The role is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with no call or weekend duties. The locum will see 16-20 patients per day, primarily adults (18+), using the NextGen EMR system. Required certifications include board certification (BC), and procedures are limited to bread-and-butter care. The clinic has RN/MA support staff, and the locum will work with one other doctor. The credentialing time is 30-60 days, and COVID vaccination is required. The role is open to MDs only, specializing in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).
