Vernon Memorial Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics to join our dedicated and compassionate team of physicians and providers and make an immediate impact in the thriving rural communities in the heart of the breathtaking Driftless Region of Southwest Wisconsin!
The Family Medicine Physician with OB provides care in a comprehensive family practice to patients spanning all age groups, from newborn to geriatric.
As a non-profit, provider-based system of rural health clinics, Vernon Memorial is committed to serving the needs of the community.
Our family medicine physicians have endless opportunities to influence the future of rural healthcare while building meaningful and long-lasting relationships with patients, families, and the surrounding communities.
Our collaborative and team-based clinic environment is focused on high-quality, patient-centered care, in support of an award-winning critical access hospital.
Our committed team of family medicine providers is dedicated to serving the community, particularly those in underserved areas.
We are seeking a motivated Family Medicine Physician with an enthusiastic interest in Obstetrics to become a valued member of our collaborative medical practice, specifically within the Kickapoo Valley Medical Clinic in the charming town of Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin.
The Family Medicine Physician with OB will have an opportunity to partner with our physicians at all four VMH clinics, including La Farge Medical Clinic, which is also home to the Center for Special Children, an essential service offered by only six clinics in the country, utilizing genetic testing to identify and treat rare conditions.
While genetic research benefits the entire population, most of the afflicted children come from regional Amish and Mennonite communities.
Scientific study has made our Center for Special Children program an outstanding medical resource, but the significant personal relationships developed between the VMH family medicine team and the Plain community cannot be underestimated when looking at what has been accomplished since the program began in 2015.
