CentraCare is hiring a full-time Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to work with our team at the Long Prairie clinic for an exciting new opportunity to see patients in our Same Day clinic. Experience preferred; ability to see all age ranges for Acute and Occupational Medicine needs.
Responsibilities As a provider seeing Same Day and Occ Med patients, you will independently see patients primarily in person (some virtual visits to be offered) of all ages for acute care needs such as:
Abdominal pain Acute injury evaluation Cuts requiring stitches Fever, dehydration, nausea or vomiting Headaches/migraines Minor injuries; breaks, sprains and strains Pediatric illness and injuries Occupational Medicine visits will also be a significant component of this position.
Schedule 4-day work week at 1.0 FTE Monday through Friday clinic hours; no overnights or holidays Rotation into Saturday clinic (approximately 1:5 rotation) Requirements Eligibility for the position entails:
Completion of a formal nurse practitioner or physician assistant program approved by a national accrediting agency Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant Current or pending licensure in the State of Minnesota, licensed to see pediatrics through geriatrics BLS Certification Experience Position open to new graduates. Relevant work experience in any of the following areas helpful:
