JOB TITLE:Outreach Therapist

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:Full-Time, 40hrs/week

SCHEDULED HOURS: Flexible start/end times, schedule your own clients, work/life balance, available to families M-Th until 7pm, Friday until 5pm

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Family Based Recovery (FBR)

Family Based Recovery provides intensive, in-home clinical treatment for families with infants or young children (birth to age 6) who are at risk for abuse and/or neglect, poor developmental outcomes and removal from their home due to parental substance use.
The overarching goal of the intervention is to promote stability, safety and permanence for these families.Treatment and support services are provided in a context that is family-focused, strength-based, trauma-informed, culturally competent, and responsive to the individual needs of each child and family.The clinical team provides intensive psychotherapy and substance use treatment for the parent(s) and attachment-based parent-child therapy to the parent-child dyad.


ABOUT THE POSITION: Outreach Therapist Duties & Responsibilities Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with fidelity to evidence based model if applicable.
Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes Demonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural supports.
Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers Provides crisis assessment and intervention to monitor status of clients in crisis.
Performs home and community based care.
Conducts urine screening in accordance with model requirements.
Completes video recordings of parent-child dyadic sessions in accordance with the model.
Responsible for Maintaining Client and Staff Records According to Agency Policy.
Provides Coverage for team members during periods of absence.
Participates in weekly supervision and meetings to review client and program progress.
Transports clients, when necessary using agency vehicles and/or personal vehicle.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education:Master's Degree or higher in mental health field

Experience: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with people with mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders.
Demonstrated training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment, assessment, evaluation and provision of individual, group and family therapy.
Relevant experience to program model to which individual is assigned

Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW, LMFT, LPC, eligible.
Licensed preferred

COMPENSATION*:

Starting at $60,496/annually minimum, and up commensurate upon experience.


*Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based off of relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy.
Many of our positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives.
(Please note, for part-time positions this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked)
