Job Title: Family Practice Registered Nurse Job Specialty: RN - Family Practice Job Duration: 39 weeks Shift: Monday through Friday, 9-hour shifts including 1-hour unpaid lunch, not to exceed 40 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: At least 24 months of experience in a primary care clinic setting within the last 48 months; Three years of nursing experience License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university, as recognized by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Must-Have: - Proficiency in computer operations and use of basic word processing, data entry, and automated medical records- Strong communication skills in both oral and written formats- Ability to synthesize data from various sources for clinical decision-making- Working knowledge of healthcare systems including health benefits Job Description: - Coordinate patient care with a wide array of healthcare professionals- Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in clinical care, quality, and cost-effectiveness- Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in alignment with established policies, procedures, and guidelines- Provide care within ethical and legal boundaries- Perform physical exams and health histories- Deliver health promotions, counseling, and education to patients- Administer medications, wound care, and other interventions- Supervise care provided by other healthcare professionals- Make patient care assignments considering the scope of practice and skill level of personnel- Recognize and quickly respond to adverse signs and symptoms or emergency situations- Communicate effectively to educate patients and families- Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as needed- Conduct research to support improved practice and patient outcomes- Perform and assist with medical procedures and ensure proper documentation- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of medical equipment and ensure routine maintenance- Participate in the orientation and training of newly assigned personnel- Promote a safe work environment and adhere to infection control policies and process improvement initiativesPlease ensure that you meet all qualifications and requirements before applying.
