Currently, we are accepting applications for our Head Start Newport, Oregon location: Head Start Site Coordinator - $18.85/hr. + 5% for Bi-Lingual Head Start provides free preschool education to children ages three to five years old in a nurturing learning environment that includes parents as important resources for their children's learning. We focus on the "whole child" and include as part of our program the child's educational, health, family, and social needs. Our Family Services Site Coordinator provides administrative support, staff coordination, competency in using Microsoft Office suite and related software, and professional communication skills. You will be the first face that children and families see, the first person they hear when they call. You will also ensure that the site meets all safety requirements and runs smoothly so the teaching staff remain focused on the children. Bilingual English/Spanish and previous Head Start experience highly preferred.
Must possess and maintain a valid Oregon driver's license, Food Handlers certification, First Aid and CPR certification, health verification form and enrollment in Oregon Child Care Division Criminal History Registry* .
