Description
Responsibilities:
Apply statistical and data analysis tools within a structured problem-solving framework to enhance existing processes and ensure manufacturing processes meet customer requirements.
Plan and conduct multi-phase validation runs to verify that new equipment, processes, and tooling meet performance standards.
Develop and manage Project Charters and Implementation Plans, outlining project scope, expected benefits, required resources, and timelines.
Serve as a technical liaison to development teams, contribute to design and project reviews, and create product and equipment specifications for manufacturing capability.
Facilitate the transition of new processes to ongoing operations through operator training and development of standard operating procedures.
Implement control plans to ensure sustained project improvements and benefits.
Contribute to the development of operational strategies that drive Operational Excellence on a regional and global scale.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Plastics, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field with 7+ years of industry experience.
Proficiency in applied statistics, process validation, root cause analysis, and Six Sigma tools.
Skilled in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.
Strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and project management abilities.
Capable of self-directed learning through books, online resources, and classroom training.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (less than 10%).
Experience with MiniTab statistical software.
Knowledge of textile and/or plastics manufacturing processes.
Experience in web management and converting processes.
