FBO Accountant Objective
The FBO Accountant is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of transactions at the local units, including accounts payable, revenue and accounts receivable.
Responsibilities and Duties: Fuel Management:
Update all websites for weekly pricing and email notifications to customers.
Resolve fuel pricing discrepancies including adjustments, reversals and rebilling.
Revenue Transactions: Reconcile and close credit card batches.
Monitor open fuel invoices to ensure payment is collected.
Manage monthly recurrent billing to tenants.
Timely collection of current and past due rents.
Application of incoming payments to accounts receivables.
Bill and collection of commercial airline fees.
Deposit checks.
Financial Reporting and Budgeting: Support the General Manager with timely monthly financial reporting and budgeting.
Prepare monthly reporting packages that are distributed to airport authorities.
Review accounts receivable aging and submit updates to GM.
Expenses: Submit employee expense reports and intercompany invoices.
Oversee petty cash usage and submit petty cash reports.
Input vendor invoices for payment.

Competencies Expertise with Microsoft office products particularly Excel.

Excellent critical thinking skills.
Ability to successfully complete tasks that require high attention to detail, with minimal supervision.
Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Corporate Controller Work Environment
This position operates in a professional environment, which may include exposure to all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is an exempt position.
Normal schedule is Monday through Friday with exceptions for heavy traffic periods as required
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and ExperienceMinimum 3 years of business experience with emphasis on accounting Prior FBO/Aviation experience preferred but not required Accounting degree preferred but not required Additional Eligibility Qualifications Ability to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends Acceptable driving record Ability to pass a background check Zero tolerance drug free company AAP/EEO Statement
