Description

As the FCRA Consumer Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of your supported operational business units.
You will assist with the development and implementation of business plans, operational policies, procedures and systems which support their department's long-term, strategic objectives as well as ensuring that staff are in compliance with these and other business policies.
Creating and maintaining a customer focused, risk averse operating model for areas of responsibility.
You will conduct problem solving and oversee the most complex and business critical projects with little or no direction.
You will also be responsible for identifying, sizing and executing against strategic objectives that are critical to improving cost, efficiency or customer experience improvements.


Primary responsibilities include Manage day-to-day operational execution, and contribute to strategic planning within area of expertise.
Ensure that all process and procedures are executed completely, timely and accurately within your area of business and that these are resolved within requested timeframes.
Leverage available data on productivity and quality to ensure that appropriate corrective actions and improvement initiatives are executed to improve results.
Responsible for all elements of risk management and how it impacts your daily responsibilities.
Understand and comply with regulatory requirements that impact your work including state and federal laws.
Complete required Regulatory and HR compliance training each quarter by established deadlines as well as ensure all team requirements are met.
Escalate any risk issues to management timely.
Ensure that colleague development activities are defined and executed.
This would include providing performance feedback and leveraging management information to identify performance opportunities.
Develop colleagues for further career progression and provide stretch opportunities through special projects and initiatives.
Manage high-level business strategy, coordinating business architecture, making general assessments of new business opportunities and analyzing trends and drivers within business areas and locations to optimize medium term strategy.
Provides support on process re-engineering, information management, technical implementation and business strategy.
Supports senior management in their efforts to grow the business and are accountable for the communication of strategic business decisions.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials 4-6 years of credit bureau reporting experience Experience with FCRA disputes across the various servicing platforms Understanding and working knowledge of Fiserv, ALS, TSYS, MSP, and Debt Manager servicing platforms Thorough understanding of the CDIA's Credit Reporting Resource Guide (CRRG), as well as the ability to apply the Metro 2 requirements/standards across all banking products as applicable.
Thorough understanding of all federal and state regulatory requirements related to the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Data Furnishing.
Ability to independently lead in depth FCRA discussions across the various product lines Experience in bankruptcy and charge off Demonstrated past job history stability Strong proven written/verbal communication skills Demonstrated success to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines.
Excellent analytical abilities and problem solving skills Ability while processing daily tasks to consider process improvements simultaneously Strong ability to multi-task; utilize effective organizational skills and effective time management skills Intermediate to advanced level experience successfully utilizing Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Outlook, Excel Hours & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 40 Work Schedule: M-F 8:00 - 5:00 Hybrid role in Johnston, RI or Glen Allen, VA
