Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Proposal Pricing Analyst.
The Proposal Pricing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, creating pricing models, and developing competitive pricing strategies for proposals.
The Analyst will complete Schedule B attachments and take company rate pools, labor categories, and direct labor inputs (and hours) and run the pricing schedules/spreadsheets.
The Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather all necessary information and ensure that proposals are compliant with pricing requirements.
The role will also involve conducting market research, analyzing pricing trends, and making recommendations to optimize pricing strategies.
The Analyst will:
Review and analyze solicitations for pricing requirements.Prepare pricing proposals in accordance with RFP/RFQ requirements and company's established estimating system.Present pricing to senior-level management.Prepare complete Price/Cost Proposals, including cost narratives, ensuring compliance with FAR, CAS, DCAA, and solicitation requirements.Create proposal pricing models and conduct cost/price and profitability analysis.Support pricing for all major contract types - FFP, T&M, Cost Plus, IDIQ, etc.Work with internal organizations to determine anticipated labor and overhead rates, material requirements, equipment costs, and possible bid strategies.Address issues and concerns raised by team members related to pricing suggestions.Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in proposal pricing in the Federal Government contracting industryBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience with large and small Federal Government contractorsFamiliarity with FAR and DFARSStrong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teamsKnowledge of financial principles and ability to develop pricing modelsStrong attention to detail to ensure compliance with pricing requirementsAbility to identify and resolve pricing-related issues Sparks Group is an equal opportunity employer.
