Fiber Blower/ Puller

GAC Enterprises, LLC, a fast-growing telecommunications construction company, is seeking a Fiber Blower/ Puller to join our team. As a fiber blower/ puller, you will be responsible forunderstanding fiber prints and sequentials, blow and/ or pull fiber. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities Be able to run fiber blowing and pulling in the needed markets. Understands fiber prints, fiber sequentials and is able to gather these accurately with pictures and information requested.  Troubleshoot problems with fiber networks and find effective solutions Has experience in using/ running a Larson trailer system with fiber blowing pulling capability Has experience in using a capstan when needed and be able to blow a string in conduit Can troubleshoot if needed by using a rodder or other troubleshooting equipment. Ensure all work is completed within safety guidelines and company standards Maintain and care for all assigned equipment Be available for on-call dispatching for maintenance work. Other duties as assigned by leadership. Requirements Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 
High school diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in fiber blowing/ pulling and network maintenance Experience using equipment such as a larson trailer, capstan and rodder.  Knowledge of industry standards and regulations Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work overtime and travel if needed Valid Driver's License (Required), CDL Class A or Class B (Preferred), DOT Med card (Required) OSHA10 & 30 Certifications (Preferred) Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Employee Discount Program
