This is a remote, field-based position. Preference for the person selected to reside in Colorado. In addition will provide support for Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Washington, Alaska and Idaho. This position is eligible for a company car. The OpportunityThe Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers. As a Field Applications Specialist:
You will travel to demonstrate your expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche product lines.You will serve as the primary liaison and expert for consultative, administrative, and technical installation matters.You will support the local support team in identifying, analyzing, and executing complex hardware instrument implementations.You will diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures while minimizing installation delays.You will maximize customer satisfaction with Roche installations and promote effective communication within the team.You will oversee and assess the quality of installation teams' work and provide feedback for improvement.Who You AreRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Cell Biology or Biochemistry, or Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, and/or relevant experience.3 years of previous experience in a clinical laboratory or IT in a clinical lab environment.Preferred QualificationsAbility to learn and remain current on Roche solutions across various fields, including chemistry, immunology, molecular, life sciences, and IT solutions, while keeping up with industry trends.Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with project management experience.Strong customer consultative skills, including advanced scientific knowledge, exceptional customer engagement, and the ability to foster strong customer relationships.Ability to coach and mentor team members and work independently as a field-based individual contributor.Additional InformationThe expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Colorado is $66 - $123k. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
