Field Mechanic Foreman - Equipment

Job Responsibilities

Manage a team of Highly trained field mechanics in day-to-day operations.
Professionally handle customer complaints.
Demonstrate good communication skills when working with customers and field mechanics.
Dispatch mechanics to job sites to make repairs as customer calls are received.
Manage outside vendors as needed to make repairs to equipment on job sites.
Ensure field mechanics are completing and submitting service reports daily.
Monitor compliance reports for equipment and schedule field mechanics to complete the tasks needed.
Provide technical assistance to field mechanics.
Assist in ordering parts for field mechanics to make repairs.
Maintain a dispatch log and track repair costs on equipment.
Review daily and weekly driver logs in accordance with company and DOT standards.
Work closely with other departments and locations to assist them in meeting their customer's equipment needs.
Engage and promote safety to all team members.
Qualifications/Requirements

5 years of mechanical experience with a wide array of construction equipment.
Prior experience supervising up to 10 technicians in a fast-paced shop environment.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and communicate in a timely, effective manner.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
Class II driver's license is preferred.
Computer skills required.
Periodic travel required.
