The Field Operations Manager will play a critical role in leading, recruiting, and developing high-performing teams. This individual will ensure team members are equipped with the training, tools, and support needed to succeed. As a key leader, you'll oversee store operations, including sales, labor management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll also serve as a mentor and coach, fostering leadership development among Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers for career growth within the organization.
\n People ManagementRecruit, lead, and develop Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers, and in-store team members.Foster a positive, engaging work environment that promotes team satisfaction and professionalism.Address performance issues and conflicts in collaboration with People Operations.Oversee and guide team development plans to ensure team members achieve their full potential. Training and DevelopmentDeliver hands-on training to Store Managers and team members, ensuring alignment with Serv-U's standards and processes.Mentor and coach Assistant Store Managers to prepare them for future leadership roles.Promote and implement Serv-U's training and certification programs, ensuring accessibility to growth opportunities.Attend on-site training sessions and company meetings (six or more times per year). Operations ManagementManage day-to-day store activities, including Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and project services, to achieve operational excellence.Ensure stores serve as exemplary "Showrooms" and "Learning Labs" for best practices and innovation.Utilize tools like PowerBI to analyze store performance, labor efficiency, and project completion. Technical OperationsLeverage technology to improve efficiency using tools like Microsoft 365, ADP, SubItUp, and LMS365.Ensure accurate and timely reporting for payroll, scheduling, and project tracking. Safety and CompliancePartner with People Operations to uphold a safe work environment, investigate incidents, and implement updated safety protocols.Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. QualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.3–8 years of management experience in a service-oriented industry; retail or grocery experience is a plus.Multi-unit management experience is a plus.Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.A passion for continuous learning and process improvement.
\n$55,000 - $60,000 a year
-Base Salary - $55,000 - 60,000
-Additional Weekly Pay Premium - $150 per week (Annualized to $7,800 per year)
-Field Operations Manager Bonus Program - Bonus potential is determined by the number of Meijer Supercenters and Meijer Grocery locations in the FOM Pod. Market Locations and Fresh Thyme Stores do not determine the potential bonus amount.
