Job Purpose: The Field Sales Representative is responsible for selling construction and farming equipment and expanding market share for our core and related products within the assigned territory. This role primarily focuses on commercial contractors and agricultural/retail clients, with an expectation to spend 90% of working hours within the territory. Building lasting customer relationships and achieving mutually beneficial sales goals are key objectives. Key Responsibilities: Identify and cultivate relationships with contractors and prospective clients. Promote our premier Kubota brand and other dealership-supported manufacturers. Develop a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets. Price products competitively, provide accurate quotes, and manage sales paperwork. Collaborate with the sales manager on pricing strategies and equipment margins. Promote rental services and associated sales opportunities. Facilitate profitable credit transactions and additional sales services. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all sales-related paperwork. Participate actively in sales meetings, trainings, and industry events. Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities. Occasionally work Saturdays and travel overnight as required. Qualifications: Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and clean driving record required. Ability to safely load, haul, and demonstrate equipment. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Detail-oriented with excellent time management abilities. Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed. Work Environment: The position involves outdoor and office environments, with significant time spent traveling to customer sites and industry gatherings. It requires flexibility in work hours, including occasional Saturdays and overnight stays.
