Volt is immediately hiring a Field Service Engineer in Elk Horn and/or Kimballton, IA who can travel to visit customers in the area. As a Field Service Engineer, you will:
Perform manual and automated calibration, adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of Test & Measurement electronic equipment and 5G equipment at our client sites.
This is a full-time estimated two-year contingent opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
*Bachelor's Degree, University Degree, Technical School or Military PMEL/TMDE or equivalent industry experience
*Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Field Customer Support of Test and Measurement instruments.
*Must have calibration service experience of all types of Test Equipment to include RF/ Microwave skills
*Must be able to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members, customers, and management while adhering to the highest standards of business ethics
*Must be knowledgeable of current quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025
*Requires the ability and desire to learn system/automated calibration software
*Ability to calibrate instruments both manually and using automated test procedures
*Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, TME, PC Based, etc.) is a plus.
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.21 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
