The Field Service Technician (FST) is accountable for repair and service of equipment located on customer job sites.
The Field Service Technician is responsible for the repair of all rental equipment residing on various job sites in addition to normally assigned shop technician duties. The FST is also responsible for the upkeep of OFLs on long term rentals, coordinating with the counters on the replacement of equipment.
A typical day may include: Perform assigned internal and field service repairs as needed Maintain service vehicle tools & parts to required standards Stocking and maintenance of service trucks Maintaining accurate and complete records of all work performed Coordinating future service needs of equipment with Store Manager Conduct safety inspections on field equipment Top candidates will have: Technical repair knowledge on a wide range of equipment Strong attention to detail and be self-motivated Ability to multi-task and work independently A valid driver's license with a violation-free record for previous three years Able to lift 75 lbs or more, several times per day. Physical Requirements: Standing 55% Walking 30% Sitting 15% This position is classified as nonexempt.
