Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to manage and maintain hazardous gas and chemical systems at one of our key client sites. This role demands a meticulous and proactive approach, with responsibilities including monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of systems – electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic.
Key Responsibilities: Perform daily operations including gas cylinder changes and chemical drum replacements. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Execute preventive maintenance and contribute to machine setups and shutdowns in line with safety protocols. Collaborate with clients and serve as the liaison between them and our corporate office, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery. Support continuous improvement by assisting in programming and providing technical support to other team members. Required Qualifications: 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, with strong familiarity with PLC programming. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and understanding electronic, vacuum, and mechanical systems. Preferred Skills: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work and timely results.
