Turner Staffing Group is seeking an energetic professional who can leverage their Heavy Equipment knowledge to expand upon our fast-growing business, creating best practices for systems and scalable business processes to ensure profitable operations. This person will function as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, willingness to do, learn, perform and improve any maintenance task.
Tasks will be defined and evolve in all areas of mining operations to ensure preventative maintenance is practiced, repairs, equipment runs in the area of responsibility. You will report to and work with the Project Superintendent to develop heavy equipment procedures that will ensure safe operations.

Position Description The Mechanic is a full-time, hourly status classification. This position diagnoses, adjusts, repairs, fabricates, and/or overhauls mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic parts, equipment/vehicles. Prefer candidates with excellent welding and fabricating experience. Travel is required. Essential Skills & Knowledge Repair and replace damaged or worn partsOperate and inspect machines or heavy equipment in order to diagnose defectsDiagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devicesDismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand toolsClean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehiclesExamine parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gaugesSchedule maintenance for industrial machines and equipment and keep equipment service recordsRead and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawingsWeld or solder broken parts and structural members using electric or gas welders and soldering toolsFabricate needed parts or items as requiredPerforms other related duties as required and assigned Benefits Turner Staffing Group offers a competitive salary, an excellent work culture, career advancement opportunities.
