Electrification & Automation
The Electrification & Automation (E&A) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.
We are looking for a Field Service Logistics Specialist. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.
The Logistics Specialist will support the shipments of electrical distribution equipment, parts, and tools to Field Service Engineers in the field. You will play a key role in controlling our freight costs in an inflationary environment by driving creative solutions with transportation partners and our internal teams.
Roles & Responsibilities
Logistic troubleshooting. Person must display and execute aptitude for promptly finding solutions for issues that occur frequently trying to support our Field Service Team.
Employee responsiveness. Person will potentially be available (by phone or email) after normal working hours supporting Field Service emergencies and FSE's located across all time zones in the US and abroad.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of warehouse, logistics, or transportation management experience
Experience with SAP system
People skills to interact with Siemens Field Service Engineers and potentially Siemens' customers
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with various test equipment manufacturers software, Doble, Megger, Vanguard, Omicron.
Experience with RF Scanner devices
Proficient with MS Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

The pay range for this position is $43,470 - $74,520. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
