Job Summary: Dexian is seeking a IT Field Technician for an opportunity with a client located in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities: Transporting and installing standardized break-fix equipmentManaging a designated territory, focusing on troubleshooting, installing, and replacing hardware and network devicesManaging an incident queue, directly interacting with customers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and maintaining proper inventory levels by replenishing stock as necessaryAct as the primary point of contact for customers on technical and service-related issuesTroubleshoot, install, manage cabling, and collaborate with other Level 2 Technicians or Lead Technicians to resolve problems accurately and efficientlyProficiency in configuring hardware and completing necessary application setups is essential, along with obtaining customer confirmation that the issue has been resolvedMeet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and documenting outcomes in ServiceNow upon completion Requirements: Associate's (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a technical school or equivalent work experienceComputer Science, Information Tech, or other related fieldsAble to communicate effectively both written and verbally, with customers, peers, Team Lead, Service Delivery ManagerWorking knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, and tools is requiredWorking knowledge of typical banking equipmentAbility to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, quality, and SLADemonstrated capability to achieve results in a fast-paced, client-driven environment2-3 years of experience in break-fix operations within the banking or finance industryW2 Only - US CitizenCompTIA A+ Certification - REQUIREDMin 1 OEM Desk/NotebookDell EnterpriseBasic non-warranty repair skills training as assigned(Cabling, Printers, Network)And/OrHP Printer Basics + Printers as assignedLexmark Printer Basics + Printers as assignedDexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
