The Building & Construction team provides assurance, testing, inspection, and certification services and building science solutions to deliver Total Quality Assurance to the built environment.

The Field Testing Technician is responsible for field testing activities including testing, reports, and maintaining client relationships.

Salary & Benefits Information The base wage or salary range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.

Carry out field testing on fenestration products (windows, curtain walls, storefronts, etc) in accordance with the relevant AAMA/ASTM standards
Document testing with data sheets and photos
Coordinate with the report writer to complete field test reports in a timely manner
Ensure project documents are maintained properly in the company database
Monitor field testing supply levels and coordinate ordering supplies
Other duties as assigned
What it takes to be successful in this role:
High School or GED, Associates Degree preferred
Experience testing fenestration products to AAMA/ASTM standards
Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
Excellent organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently, occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance
Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)
Ability to climb and work from ladders
Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required)
