Job Description Field Training Manager Job Summary
We are seeking a Field Training Lead to join our dynamic team supporting a global client account in the datacenter security operations.
The FTL will serve as the key resource for managing and executing training programs, supervising training officers, and improving safety and operational efficiency.
This role requires collaboration across various leadership teams, focusing on onboarding, safety initiatives, and training development.
Position based in Plano, TX, requiring approximately 25% travel.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact for onboarding and training of security personnel. Train and certify new security staff, maintaining all necessary documentation. Spend time in the field providing hands-on training to security teams. Oversee and track training completions, ensuring compliance with standards. Manage a team of training professionals, driving strategic goals and project deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement effective training systems. Prioritize safety awareness and enforce standard operating procedures across sites. Assist in audits and ensure accurate documentation of training and safety protocols. Provide feedback to leadership regarding training progress, compliance, and morale. Identify and address potential safety and security shortfalls. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing needs. Confidence in delivering classroom and field training in a professional manner. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Must be able to travel up to 25% domestically. Qualifications: Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 4 years' experience in the security industry or business management, including 2 years in a training capacity.
Experience with datacenters is preferred. Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) is preferred. Must be CPR/AED/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification. Benefits:
Depending on experience, Securitas will offer a starting salary of $47 to $51 hourly, in addition to a full benefits package that includes:
