Provide field training and orientation to new employees of Falck NorthwestEvaluate trainees during probationary/orientation periodEnsure trainees demonstrate understanding of policies and procedures and proficiency in required skills

Responsibilities
• Maintain confidentiality, evaluate and monitor trainee performance• Assist trainees in arranging additional training, provide regular feedback• Review Patient Care Reports, work as a team member• Deal with conflict, communicate effectively with peers and supervisors• Attend training meetings, participate in organizational development groups• Must remain full-time and attend required Falck CME• Provide CME training, participate in QA/QI process• Assist with developing and delivering sections of NEOP and bi-annual skills refreshers• Comply with Falck policies and address employee issues• Understand job performance expectations and disciplinary action
Requirements
• Current Oregon State Paramedic or EMT license• Current driver's license• Minimum 1 year experience at current level of licensure• Knowledge of city EMS structure and role of private ambulance• In-depth knowledge of local Protocols and pre-hospital care• Completed NAEMSE Level 1 Instructors course and Escaping Violent Encounters (E.V.E.) Instructor Program• High school diploma or GED• Current CPR for Healthcare Provider card• Additional requirements for Paramedic FTOs
