What you will do:

develop, implement, administer, and interpret changes for administrative and fiscal programs; prepares budgets, contracts, and grant proposals and approves proposals made by others;
supervises daily administrative functions and program staff;
develops rules and regulations for administrative and fiscal projects;
provides technical expertise to program staff, other agencies, and clients receiving services and support to ensure programs operate in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Supervise a unit of Program or Administrative Assistants. Such as training, development, and performance management of staff; providing oversight of administrative functions; program quality assurance and improvement to maintain and enhance operational effectiveness; implementing policies and procedures for multiple activities/programs; oversight of multiple administrative programs including operating procedures, fiscal accounts, alternative care funding, and daily office functions. This position develops and maintains public relations with the Department of Social Services, Finance Division and other divisions to foster working partnerships, resolve complaints, respond to inquiries from the public, and educating the public about program services available.

The position is responsible for developing and administering social services programs to include fiscal planning and monitoring, budget development, contract development, and financial oversight. This position performs professional accounting and routine audit work which requires the understanding and application of formal accounting principles, control procedures, and audit techniques following established procedures and/ or standard practices. This position will implement directives from managers, and follow accounting principles and established procedures to record, research, analyze, and develop reports for managers to use in monitoring revenue and expenditures and creating financial reports and projections. This process will include development and implementation of reconciliation processes with internal and external partners to ensure accuracy and integrity of agency funding. This position will conduct daily business functions such as reconciliation of accounts receivable and payable, allocation of funds, and reporting of grant and fund balances.

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and additional hours. There will be expectations of in-state and out-of-state travel, as needed.
