JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Process high volume of invoices electronically Monitor workflows to ensure timely payment and accurate processing Supervise and train accounts payable staff Develop and maintain training materials Reconcile vendor statements with accounts payable activity in ERP system and work with vendor and internal departments to resolve discrepancies Respond timely to internal and vendor inquiries; investigate and resolve discrepancies and complex account issues Organize and maintain electronic and paper accounts payable files in accordance with record retention policies Anticipate potential issues and implement appropriate mitigations proactively The candidate should have the ability to work independently, possess problem solving skills, demonstrate good customer service skills, possess a comfort level with math and calculations, maintain high attention to detail, apply sound judgement, maintain sensitivity and confidentiality, and be able to set priorities to complete work timely.
EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of experience in accounts payable; other accounting experience helpful Allscripts system experience preferred OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel Organization skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a high volume fast paced environment Proven customer service skills, including effective communication to resolve complex issues Ability to work independently Possess continuous improvement mindset Strong written and verbal communication skills
