Finance Director Our client is currently seeking a Finance Director to join their team.


About the Finance Director Opportunity; Strong compensation and benefits: $120,000 to $130,000 Generous paid time off policy Very low-cost insurance comparable to the State's plans, 457(b) with an excellent match Flexible scheduling: ability to work 4-day work weeks Exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work within a public service position Key Functions of the Finance Director role Preparation of audit materials and assisting wherever necessary as it relates to the audits Budgeting: Play a large part in the development of the annual budget Key member of financial strategy and planning Developing financial policies and procedures Oversight of all accounting functions, financial records and internal controls Supervisory responsibilities: This role has one direct report Preferred Qualifications of the Finance Director BS Accounting/Finance or related.
MBA/CPA a plus Municipality experience is a big plus, but not a requirement Ability to present to boards and explain the financials in simple terms
