This position is within the OptumRx Operations Finance team, focused on supporting SG&A forecasting, planning, and analytics for OptumRx Operations.
Specifically, this role supports our Home Delivery Pharmacy (HDP) customer service call center.
This position's focus includes budgeting/forecasting, reporting, analytics, investment tracking, productivity savings planning, strategic initiatives modeling, and other ad hoc financial support.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform monthly close analysis and reporting to facilitate understanding of monthly results against the financial plan
Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and maintain complex financial forecasting models and reports
Conduct in-depth ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and cost efficiencies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights
Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
Leads large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors' degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business
5+ years of finance/accounting experience
Proficiency in MS Excel skills, including significant financial modeling experience
Experience working collaboratively and influencing others within a matrix organization
Proven ability to work independently with little supervision, prioritize work and be a self-starter
Proven excellent written communication skills and the ability to verbally communicate ideas clearly & confidently
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or CPA
Experience with Hyperion Essbase
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analytics
Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Proven excellent communication skills and an ability to influence across a matrix environment
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
Proven self-motivated and capable of driving tasks with limited managerial oversight
