The Finance Manager produces additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and other appropriate after-sale items to new and used customers. Experience in dealership management, automotive sales and prior finance selling experience are encouraged to apply.
Employees in this position will primarily be paid commissions, however they will also be paid the applicable minimum wage for non-sales work and for rest periods. Commission amounts vary based on performance, with the expected average annual commission earnings of approx. $130,000 - $280,000. At Mossy Auto Group our employees are our most valuable asset. Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability and collectability. Fully proficient with title laws and registration process. Maintains proficiency and certifications as required for the position. Accurately desks deals, submits deals to lenders for approval, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes deals & ensures collection of all finance fees. Ensures all deals are fully compliant with local, state and federal guidelines. Prepares paperwork, contracts and delivers deals. Accurately audits team deals Post-Sale for correct title, loan information, taxes, etc. Ensures the expeditious funding of all contracts, accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval. Establishes and maintains good working relationships with several finance sources, including the manufacturer. Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent experience. Valid CA Driver's License & Clean Driving Record Required. Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures. Leadership abilities & outstanding customer service skills. Professional personal appearance & punctual. Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills. Follows directions from supervisors & interacts effectively with coworkers. Understands and follows posted dealership policies and procedures.
