Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team.Whether part-time or full-time, this role will play a vital part in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting, and assisting with day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities: Daily Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including sales, receipts, and payments. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track receivables, and ensure timely payment of bills. Bank and Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts on a monthly basis. Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll and ensuring accurate tracking of employee hours, benefits, and deductions (if applicable). Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and distributing monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports. Expense Tracking: Record, categorize, and monitor business expenses for tax purposes. Tax Compliance: Support the preparation of documents for tax filings and ensure adherence to relevant regulations. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses as needed. General Ledger Maintenance: Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date entries in the general ledger. Support Year-End Close: Help with year-end accounting procedures, including reconciliations and audits.
Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accounting clerk, or in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Experience in small business bookkeeping. Knowledge of payroll systems and tax filing procedures. Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.
