Finance Manager What do we do Red Rabbit is one of the largest Black-owned School Food Management Companies in the country. We work with hundreds of schools, districts, and food banks to uplift communities of color throughout the North East and Mid-Atlantic Regions.

About the Role The Finance Manager is a great opportunity for a person looking to "Do Work That Matters". We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our growing 150+ employee company. This role will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for managing daily financial activities, ensuring accuracy in financial documentation, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's goals.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Systems Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliations of various financial systems (such as Ramp, Spendesk, and Xero) to ensure accurate financial records and maintain the integrity of our financial data. Oversee and manage the company's financial systems to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
Accounts Receivable and Payable: Review and process accounts receivable and payable, including coordinating weekly payments to vendors, reviewing vendor statements, and updating the bookkeeping system with vendor invoices. Conduct regular check-ins with the Procurement team to ensure adherence to budgets and invoice integrity.
Payroll Support and Administration: Assist in payroll preparation and adjustments to ensure accurate employee compensation. Provide support in managing employee-related financial matters and ensure compliance with company policies.
Reporting and Management: Prepare and present financial reports for weekly executive team meetings and other key stakeholders, including the Regional Directors and Procurement Team. Conduct daily check-ins with the CFO to provide updates and address any urgent financial matters. Participate in strategic planning and provide insights to support decision-making processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years experience in a finance management role, preferably within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.Ability to manage sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.Commitment to Red Rabbit's mission and values, with a passion for social justice and community service.
