Job Description: The Finance Business Partner role helps to provide financial direction, guidance, and challenge to the Customer Development team on business decisions with financial impact. This role involves analyzing complex business information, drawing out key messages, gathering assumptions for business activities, and financially modeling scenarios. It also emphasizes being a thinking partner to co-pilots, challenging assumptions, identifying trends, and provoking fresh thinking.
What are we looking for?CIMA (preferred) or ACA qualified or relevant business experience requiredRelevant knowledge of financial conceptsBusiness acumen including knowledge of a required market and experience of working in Demand FinanceFinancial modeling experienceStrong Excel skills and experience with PowerBI/TableauWhat will be your key responsibilities?Shape financial strategy and relevant targets for specific account customers, learning their mechanics and business models to develop and define the LT mutual P&LProvide decision support for ad-hoc activities financially impacting the channel, such as financial modeling of pricing, customer-led and/or Mars-led initiatives, business cases for new pack development, and diagnosing the root cause of performance issues.Work closely with Customer Development Managers through the annual JBP development/sign-off.Lead investment proposals and collaborate with Customer Development Managers on new business in the channel, ensuring pricing, investment levels, and range maximize growth and profit for Mars within our pricing corridors.Deliver and encourage a strong governance culture within the specific account customer.Ensure adherence to Trade Spend budgets throughout the year and take corrective action where necessary.What can you expect from Mars?Work with over 140,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.Join a purpose-driven company, striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including a company bonus.
