Location:

This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations in Atlanta, GA or Mason, OH. This team meets in office typically one (1) time per week.

Financial Accounting Analyst Sr

will be responsible for providing technical leadership and setting strategic direction of projects.
How you will make an impact:
Manages close processes, related analysis, and reporting.
Prepares and reviews monthly and quarterly financial reports and complex analysis.
Designs research plans for data gathering and analysis and manages projects to deadlines.
Responsible for initiation and resolution of complex accounting problems requiring technical expertise.
Works with the Interplan Team, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Cash Team.
Prepares journal entries and reconciliations.
Mentors, trains, and coaches lower-level accountants.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, or related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience in general accounting, finance or budgeting and planning in a large for-profit organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
Automation and Power Query experience preferred.
Previous work experience with month-end close processes, account reconciliation and statutory accounting principles preferred.
