Financial PlannerFinancial Planners are the point of contact and relationship managers to high income/high net worth clients. Financial Planners manage a portfolio of clients to assess, understand, and identify their banking needs, and to provide options for wealth advice, banking products, and investment/insurance offerings.Financial Planner QualificationsBachelors in finance or related fieldCFP DesignationSeries 7 & 66 license within 6 months of hire date, if not already heldUnderstanding of and compliance with industry rules and regulationsExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellence in multi-tasking, decision making, and problem solvingExcellence in sales and customer serviceFinancial Planner ResponsibilitiesAssess, understand, and identify clients' banking needsProvide clients with options for wealth advice, banking products, and investment/insurance offeringsGather information regarding investments, savings, tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, asset allocation, evaluating risk toleranceDevelop financial strategies by assisting client in setting financial goals and mattching goals to appropriate financial plansCommunicate proposed financial plans and options to cllients, explaining advantages and risks, answering questions, and assisting with concernsCultivate/build relationship with trust, communication, and effectivenessContinued growth and learning, keeping up on industry trends, market research, and industry rules/regulationsThis opportunity includes an excellent compensation and benefits package, as well as a wonderful work environment and low employee turnover rates.I partner with institutions all over Illinois, and work with other GPAC recruiters in the U.S. to place qualified candidates with strong companies.
