Responsibilities
• Interpreting data, leveraging analytical tools, and making recommendations to key stakeholders• Leading DVACO governance committees and maintaining relationships with management• Performing financial informatics analysis, forecasting financial data, and analyzing and projecting HCC risk scores• Identifying trends and patterns in complex data sets and presenting statistical and operational reports• Negotiating contract requirements and communicating effectively within formal and informal channels
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field• 1+ years actuarial experience or progress in the SOA exam program• Experience modeling financial performance using healthcare claims data• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook• Advanced knowledge of SQL, SAS, or equivalent language• Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
