Job Summary
The Finance Manager is responsible for analyzing every day financial activities and subsequently providing advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.
Job Responsibilities Provides financial reports and interprets financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
Advises on investment activities and provides strategies that the company should take.
Maintains the financial health of the organization.
Analyzes costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
Develops trends and projections for the company's finances.
Conducts reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
Manages the preparation of the company's budget.
Liaises with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
Corresponds with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Hires, coaches, and develops staff.
Assists in onboarding and training new team members.
Encourages continuing professional education and development.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics 5+ year's progressive experience in the financial sector Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information Ability to work and effectively communicate tieh senior-level business partners Highly proficient in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookup, sumifs) Preferred Qualifications CPA license preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles Physical Job Requirements May require standing, walking and sitting for extended amounts of time.
Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination Includes full range of body motion.
Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges.
Must be able to effectively communicate with team members.
The base pay range for this position is $116,026.00 to $136,331.00 per year.
Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience.
This position may be eligible for an annual bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off and 401K.
