We are seeking a full-time Financial Analyst to join our corporate headquarters team in Ringoes, NJ.
Salary $95,000-$125,000 based on experience.
Key role will be responsible for gleaning insights from business data and through business interaction to ultimately guide decision-making of the business' senior leadership teams.


This position will ensure timely, accurate and insightful information delivery to our senior business partners.
Your excellent business acumen and strong communication, technology and presentation skills will allow you to gather information from a complex business environment and synthesize relevant key facts and trends that help drive decision-making.
Using your financial expertise, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the supplier contract calculations including all revenue and associated costs.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following.


Analyze supplier contract data ensuring integrity, timeliness, and usefulness of analysis.
In-depth data modeling and analyses gathering of key drivers and providing insights to our business partners.
Prepare, review and understand monthly purchase volume, sales volume, cost, and price.
Prepare quarterly supplier contract reconciliations by 45 days after quarter end.
Analytically review and highlight trends for terminal, SG&A, truck, and railcar overhead costs.
Conduct research to ensure compliance with supplier contracts.
Support vendor and customer inquiries with research.
Liaison with Senior Vice President and Vice President of Sourcing, as well as Suppliers.
Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for monthly and quarterly general ledger close based on your responsibilities.
Contribute to special projects assigned by the Controller or CFO.
Work with multiple business departments to resolve supplier, financial and accounting issues.
Act as a change manager for new or enhancements to existing reporting solutions.
Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis for various business partners.
QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS5-7+ years relevant experience.
Superior listener with strong interpersonal skills necessary to be active and effective.
Must be proficient in Excel, heavy Excel position (Pivot, Index, If).
Proficient in the Microsoft 365 environment.
Comfortable in a deadline-driven and rapidly evolving environment.
Experience with Infor XA and AS400/Mapics a plus.
Ability to adapt to changes in business needs and respond quickly.
Analytical and research abilities with effective communication skills.
Excellent data management skills a must.
Ability to build relationship at all levels of the organization.
Must be detail oriented and have good organizational skills.
Self-starter who can work autonomously but wants to be a high-impact team player.
EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred, but not required Excellent understanding of accounting mechanisms/cost accounting In-depth knowledge of ERP systems and business information systems WORK ENVIRONMENT
