We are seeking a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for the timely, accurate, and efficient collection, allocation, and distribution of rebates (National Accounts Program (NAP) and Co-op Assistance Program (CAP)) from the vendors to LMC's members.
This includes communication with the suppliers to collect or deduct rebates owed to our members.
The administration of the NAP and CAP programs requires the ability to enter rebates into LMC proprietary systems and verify the accuracy of the rebates as well as carry out the quarter close and distribution of rebates to our members.


The Financial Analyst is also responsible for assisting the Manager, Rebate Accounting in the timely and accurate analysis of our members financial statements.
This includes assisting in the collection, analysis, and write-up process through the utilization of analytical and proprietary financial reporting tools, and assisting in follow-up work as well as producing ad hoc reports as needed.
This position requires working in our office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays and the first Monday of each month.


Primary Responsibilities: Support and assist the activities of the Rebate Accounting and Financial Analysis/Credit Departments.
General Ledger reconciliation of rebate programs.
Utilize LMC proprietary systems to accurately, and timely collect and distribute NAP and CAP credits.
Assist in the preparation of the year-end stockholder preferred stock and patronage dividends calculation and distribution.
Contribute in the preparation and distribution of the IRS 1099 form.
Assist the Rebate Accounting Manager with special projects and provide insight on operational improvements.
Maintain documented procedures and update as needed.
Assist with dealer financial statement analysis and reports as needed.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience required.
1-2 years of experience in a related financial/accounting role.
Knowledge of general ledger accounting.
Experience in the collection, allocation, and distribution of rebates is strongly preferred.
Proficient in MS Office Suite applications and able to learn new systems quickly.
Experience with analyzing financial statements preferred.
Able to work in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet necessary deadlines.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Able to create, construct, and understand database spreadsheets and formulas.
Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service focus and professionalism.
