This position will be based at Pomona, CA.Role Description:Assist all financial aspects of our plant in Pomona, CA through a very strong growth phase and beyond. Assist an expansion project currently in executionPartner closely with the Plant Controller in ensuring financial transparency and accuracy, execution of internal controls, reporting, analysis, planning, forecasting, monitoring, and adherence the KPI's while closely collaborating with finance teams within and outside of the plantCompletes financial planning and reporting activitiesAnalyses and monitors key performance indicators and business performance and creates regular reports to managementReview and analyze financial statements before and after month-end close. Prepare and post necessary accrualsAssist in the development of periodic forecasts and annual budgets as well as performing in-depth variance analysis, summarizing, and explaining the results using profit bridgesKey point of contact for other functional teams within and outside the plant including, Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Manufacturing Engineering, Order Engineering etc.Assist automation and digitalization projects from conceptualization to implementation.Support monthly grey reporting for quality, cycle counts, factory scorecard etc.Assist productivity and other savings calculation and review results. Ensure results are reconciled and reportedTrack CAPEX project progress in terms of PO creation, invoice receipt from the vendor, reconciliation, and compile and report monthly CAPEX spendsSupport all other ad-hoc initiatives in finance as well as other strategic initiatives in the plant as requiredCoordinate with other locations to share knowledge as well as best practicesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance3+ years of progressive experience in financial statement analysis and modelingWorking knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP systemAbility to work with other functional teams across levels and communicate financial information and requirementsSelf-starter with critical thinking abilities to identify potential improvement Execute on those opportunities with minimal guidance and supervisionQualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in Tableau, Knime, UiPath or any other automation and visualization tool is a plus.You'll benefit from:Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
