Financial Analyst - Intermediate

Overview of the Position: The Intermediate Financial provides essential financial management support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case execution, reconciliation, and closure. These roles require proficiency in various financial systems and experience in financial analysis and problem resolution within the FMS framework.
Responsibilities: Provide financial case management support specific to internal and enterprise-wide FMS case execution, reconciliation, and closure.Participate as a member of the tiger teams to support case closure efforts.Provide financial assistance in case development, execution, contract reconciliation, and closure.Provide case development, management, and closure support, including coordination with case managers, technical analysis of programs, and program management support for MISIL and N-ERP.Conduct financial analysis and reporting on special areas of interest, providing monthly reports detailing efforts and preparing briefing materials showing metrics.Perform analysis and make recommendations to resolve corporate FMS business rule violations, submitting monthly reports displaying analysis and recommendations for resolution.Attend and maintain minutes for FMS enterprise activities and high-level meetings.Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of FMS financial management, including case and contract reconciliation, pre-validation, problem disbursement analysis, and resolution.General understanding of FMS programs and the roles and functions of the DoD SA/FMS cooperative programs financial infrastructure.Proficiency in FMS information management systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with five years of relevant experience in FMS financial management.Experience in financial case management and execution, analysis and resolution of FMS business rule violations, and understanding of funding documents.Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and maintain effective coordination with DoD and DoN offices.SECRET security clearance.US Citizenship is required, and all other eligible parties can apply.Information Gateways Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
