Financial Analyst - Private Equity

Benchmark has partnered with an investment firm on a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis role. Founded two decades ago, this firm thrives on a hands-on and methodical leadership team, continually evolving and adapting to new challenges. This role focuses on supporting financial planning and providing key financial analysis across the firm. You will collaborate closely with leadership, accounting, and other departments to drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Key Responsibilities: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning tasks. Develop and manage financial models for budgeting and forecasting. Conduct variance analysis between actual performance and budget/forecast. Streamline and improve financial reporting processes. Collect and organize financial data from multiple departments (e.g., accounting, operations). Prepare financial reports and presentations for leadership. Provide analytical support on strategic projects and transactions. Build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams Qualifications: Accounting or Finance Degree required Strong financial analysis, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insights beyond reporting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present complex data to senior management, the Board, and external stakeholders. 2-4 years experience in financial analysis, ideally with a background in financial planning, analysis, or transaction advisory Highly proficient in Excel
