Role Overview: As Financial Controller, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, making sure everything runs smoothly and accurately. You'll be an essential part of our team, helping to keep our financial wheels turning and contributing to our overall success. Working closely with our CEO, COO and department heads, you'll ensure our financial processes are seamless and support our growth. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Help prepare our monthly financial statements and assist the Accountants with regulatory reporting. Accounts Receivable Management: Take charge of our accounts receivable process, from billing to collections, making sure everything is reconciled accurately. Accounts Payable Management: Manage the entire accounts payable cycle, including processing invoices, making payments, and maintaining great relationships with our vendors. Reconciliation: Regularly perform account and inventory reconciliations to keep everything accurate and address any discrepancies quickly. Compliance: Reinforce our internal procedures, maintain meticulous record keeping, ensure document compliance, and collaborate with our accountants. Process Improvement: Look for ways to improve and add to our financial policies and processes to make them more efficient and accurate. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Accountants, CEO, Executive Assistant, and other department leads to ensure our financial planning and operations are well-integrated. Who You Are: Experienced: You've got a solid background in general accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable roles, ideally in a similar industry. Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and pride yourself on accuracy in all financial transactions. Organized: You excel at managing multiple priorities and deadlines without breaking a sweat. Communicative: You're great at communicating with vendors, partners, customers, and team members, ensuring smooth interactions all around. Adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced environments and can easily adapt to changing priorities. Ethical: Integrity and accountability are at the core of everything you do. Team Player: You love working with others, fostering a collaborative environment, and building strong relationships across departments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable roles. Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace, especially Excel and Sheets. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
