Financial Controller - Supply Chain

Responsible for overseeing the accounting and internal control processes for the supply chain operations in the Crumbl family of businesses, namely Crumbl Foods, LLC and Crumbl Foods Canada, ULC. More specifically, this role is responsible for the accounting functions for the supply chain operation, including general ledger accounting, intercompany inventory transactions, inventory management, receivables management, month-end soft and hard close, entity report generation, year-end close, and external review and/or audit management. Additionally, the role supports the Expenditure team in the accounts payable and fixed assets functions. The role will directly manage staff, with dotted-line responsibility for other accountants as we continue to expand. Across all of these responsibilities, the role is expected to keep internal control and strong processes in mind, addressing areas of need and supporting the ever-changing landscape of the Crumbl family of businesses. The position will report to the Director of Finance and is expected to be able to work independently to oversee and accomplish regularly occurring accounting tasks and to be able to communicate needs and issues with the appropriate departments and executive leaders as needed.  This position is in-house at the Lindon, UT headquarters location with some hybrid flexibility..  

\n Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the daily operation of the supply chain's accounting functions, including but not limited to general ledger accounting, intercompany inventory transactions, inventory management, and receivables management.Complete the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for all supply chain entities, supporting the overall corporate consolidation and close process.Manage intercompany transactions related to inventory alongside the Enterprise Controller and Director of Tax to ensure accurate accounting, assignment, and taxation of intercompany activities.Work with the VP of Supply Chain and the supply chain teams to ensure sufficient margin on product pricing, strong systems, and warehouse processes to support inventory data acquisition, and overall efficiency in the supply chain function.Work with the Director of Tax to ensure sales tax compliance.Support the FP&A team in preparing the financial reporting packages, budgets, forecasts, and through the BvA process.Monitor compliance with GAAP and other applicable financial standards.Support the Expenditure team with managing the accounts payable and the fixed asset process.Assist in the development, implementation and documentation of new accounting policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the department. QualificationsMaster's degree in accounting or accounting emphasis in business major required.Minimum of 5 years experience in physical inventory accounting, supply chain accounting, and cost accounting.High level of comfort with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite).High level of proficiency with spreadsheet applications.Detail-oriented.Agile and willing to adapt to a highly nimble environment.Ability to prioritize in a highly nimble environment.Capable of learning new software and processes quickly.CPA is highly desired.
