in Stow Ohio is a growing home care agency in need of a Financial Coordinator.

The Financial Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely completion and submission of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance and private pay billing, and accounts receivable tracking and follow-up. The Coordinator is responsible for monthly financial reports, year-end statements and assists with annual cost report and budget information.
QUALIFICATIONS
Accounting/Medical Billing Degree preferred
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial billing specific to home health required.
Strong organizational and computer skills.
Functions well in a team environment.
Two years experience in accounting/medical billing.
Knowledge of budget information.
Quick Book knowledge is a must!!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately process and bill Medicare, Medicaid, commercial and private pay claims in accordance to payer requirements and agency policy.
Maintains accuracy in billing procedures.
Maintains confidentiality of client record and agency information at all times.
Assists with maintaining and re-credentialing of billing contracts.
Coordinates the collection of receivables by monitoring accounts receivables, processing payments of receivables, resubmitting bills to overdue accounts and alerting supervisor of these.
Maintains complete and accurate billing and accounts receivable records.
Maintains all accounting and bookkeeping systems, including bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.
Monitoring cash flows on a consist basis to ensure monetary coverage.
Maintains accounts payable and payment of payables on a bi-monthly basis.
Assists with maintaining vendor contracts.
Handles purchase orders for the main office.
Assists in annual budget formation and monitors expenditures and income monthly.
Prepares financial reports on a monthly basis.
Prepares the annual financial report.
Prepares the annual Medicare Cost Report.
Prepares the Quarterly Credit Balance Report.
Other duties as assigned.
