Skills and CompetenciesMust have: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyBasic knowledge in the finance industryProficiency in Excel and SQLBasic programming skillsPreferred: Advanced SQL expertiseStructured finance industry knowledgeFamiliar with a programming language such as VBA, Python, C++, C# etc.EducationStudents studying towards a Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related fieldsGraduation date of December 2025 - June 2026Ability to work during program dates: June 2nd - August 8th 2025ResponsibilitiesWe're looking for a talent to help us on solving various data-related tasks, including:
Monitor abnormal metrics in financial reports, analyze possible reasons, and perform further verificationGenerate monitoring reports to improve financial data quality, focusing on business logic, such as reasonable pricing and valuationSet up new structures and workflows for capturing data points from various sources, using internal software and preferably familiar with C#.About the Team & Program We're a content production team specialized in CLO (Collateralized Loan Obligations).
We model cash flow waterfalls based on legal documentation, which is then used for cashflow projection.
We also maintain, update, and consolidate data from various reports, which feeds into cashflow models and provides the base for generating valuations for clients.
Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight.
The program takes place each summer from June - August and positions are available for undergraduate and select graduate students.
Internships are full-time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody's business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills.
Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series, and volunteering events.
Interns complete project work determined by their team that has real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth.
Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody's professionals, gaining insights into diverse career paths and cultivating a comprehensive understanding of the company.
Networking events and workshops further enrich the experience, providing a platform for professional development and collaboration.
As a Moody's intern, you will gain real-world experience, turn inputs into actions, and be an integral part of the team.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly rate for this position is $35.
