This position offers a successful candidate the opportunity to grow and advance as a ratings and financial research professional in a demanding and dynamic environment.Job Responsibilities:Ability to develop specialized analytical skills in terms of financial statement analysis including ratio analysis for a variety of financial sectorsDemonstrated attention to detail skills and willingness to see that tasks are followed through to ultimate conclusionPlay a key role in the production of standardized research and ad hoc reports including extensive use of Excel for data population and manipulation for use in published analytical reportsWillingness to collaborate with analysts in disparate locations and learn new skillsSuccessful candidates will possess the following:Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (with a preference in accounting)Strong interest and/or relevant work experience in credit or financial analysis and/or, accounting,Strong proficiency with Excel including Macros, VLOOKUP's, and Pivot TablesExcellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlinesSalary Range:The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 to $75,000.
