Logistics Coordinator/Financial
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our client's logistics team. The perfect candidate will be responsible for coordinating information to and from key stakeholders and freight partners. This position is highly focused on data entry, sending and responding to emails, and phone communication between necessary parties.

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience
Responsibilities: Assist Logistics Manager in arranging carrier services.Coordinate associated documentation for foreign and domestic shipping.Update tracking details with key stakeholders.Back up coworkers within the department during times of vacation and/or illness.Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment.Prepare and process purchase orders and invoices.Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments and deliveries.Maintain and update logistics databases and systems.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency.Update Bills of Lading (BOLs) and ensure all shipping documents are accurate.Calculate and apply surcharges, tariffs, and other fees as necessary.Ensure billing is correct and resolve any discrepancies with freight charges.Collaborate with carriers and freight partners to ensure timely and accurate billing.Monitor and track freight invoices to ensure timely payment.Qualifications: Highschool Diploma/GED.Background or knowledge in logistics and transportation.Experience with logistics software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, D365).Experience in freight billing and managing shipping documents.Proficiency with freight billing software and systems.Strong analytical skills to ensure accurate billing and resolve discrepancies.Willingness to learn about global logistics.Strong attention to detail & good note-keeping a must.Good computer skills, MS Office Suite, Basic Excel skills for data entry.Strong communication skills over the phone and in person.Must work well under pressure.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
