Financial Planning & Analysis Lead, Shared Services The Transformation & Financial Analysis Lead will be a member of Focus' Shared Services team, which is responsible for (i) the delivery of corporate functions to our business segments and affiliated firms and (ii) the development and delivery of advisor and client solutions. The team plays an integral role in bridging the organization together by delivering common experiences and products.
The Lead will support the strategic development of new and enhanced client solutions that accompany our wealth management business, and will be accountable for generating financial analytics and key performance indicators of potential and ongoing client solutions. The role will report into the Head of Shared Services and partner with our Finance, Legal, Compliance, Technology and Wealth Management departments.
This role can be based in Albany, NY or New York, NY.
Primary Responsibilities · Develop data models that organize the information required to understand complex business challenges and the development of various advisor and client solutions (e.g. tax preparation, insurance sales, bill pay).
· Develop and maintain processes to gather and analyze data from a variety of systems
· Partner with our Finance team to develop financial models for our client solutions to ensure they are being executed efficiently
· Assist with the segmentation of the wealth management market and defining service levels to align with financial models
· Coordinate with various team members for ad-hoc reporting needs
· Prepare presentations to build consensus within the organization on our approach to development and delivery of client solutions
· Navigate the organization to understand the current state of client solutions and develop a method for measuring their growth and impact on the organization
· Leverage industry knowledge and networks to ensure Focus client solutions delivers best in class experiences and outcomes
· Exert influence to drive execution of strategic initiatives and ensure that all client solutions meet financial targets and key business objectives
· Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks
· Communicate with leadership across the organization on initiative progress, escalating challenges and celebrating successes
Preferred Qualifications · Minimum of 5 years work experience, with 2+ years in strategic consulting, wealth management, investment banking, or private equity
· Bachelor's degree from a leading university
· Experience in entrepreneurial environment or financial services and capable of creative thinking and generating innovative solutions
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build partnerships across the organization
· Strong communication skills and ability to lead meetings and discussions
· Commitment to excellence and follow through
· Self-motivated with a passion for building
· Outstanding analytical skills and capability to translate into business development objectives
· Strong Excel skills required including working knowledge of VBA, macros and business intelligence (BI) tools
· Familiarity with technologies that support the wealth management business
· Open to limited amount of travel across the United States

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $125,000 - $200,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other reward may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
